Clinical Laboratory Sales and Marketing Representative Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Sales and Marketing Representative’s primary objective is to acquire new accounts resulting in profitable growth. Reaching out to physicians nursing homes, assisted living facilities, clinics along with other related fields. Focusing on introducing laboratory services and products. This position maintains a strong presence in the marketplace promoting Rapid DX Labs in the local and surrounding areas and other states.

Duties:

  • Identifying clinics and facilities that could benefit from laboratory services and expanding the current market share.
  • Developing business relationships with key clinics and target customers.
  • Delivering product presentations to customers in need, outlining laboratory benefits and services.
  • Achieving quarterly sales goals and maintaining expectations of the field and limited administrative duties.
  • Manages the initial phases of the customer sales process for US accounts, sourcing and developing new customers and contact existing customers via phone and email.
  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information.
  • Practice and adhere to all company policies and regulations
  • Follow Compliance procedures and participates in Compliance training.
  • Meets sales targets and be responsible for accurate forecasting, maintaining lead customer details, and up to date opportunity information gathered in clinical laboratory diagnostic space.
  • Jointly develop account strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasing business and retaining current business.
  • Conduct technical seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows and workshops to drive thought leader adoption of technology.
  • Follow EKRA (Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act) law dealing with customers/accounts.
  • Excellent customer support skills.
  • Ability to sell technically complex products.
  • Expertise with demand creation in a large geography.
  • Experience with customer base within territory is a plus.
  • Strengths in networking and relationship development.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Some formal sales training experience.
  • Strong time and territory management skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Laboratory/Med Sales experience preferred.
  • Current Clinical relationships in the market are required.
  • A Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline. Postgraduate qualification preferred.

  • 2 – 4 years of sales experience in clinical laboratory sector, infectious disease molecular, next generation sequencing and/or Oncology – Inside Sales experience advantageous
  • Knowledge of genomics and the healthcare sector is an advantage
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Collaboration. Adept at leveraging internal and external organizational resources
  • Critical Thinking. Able to identify and challenge the assumptions underlying actions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duties are typically performed in an office setting and vising customers to promote product and services.

This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.

Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.

25% – 50% travel required

Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer provides leadership for all aspects of the company’s operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment. The CEO will have a strong background in Sales and Marketing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the ongoing operations of all divisions in the company.
  • Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives.
  • Oversees employment decisions at the executive level of the company.
  • Leads a team of executives to consider major decisions including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, or large-scale expansion.

  • Provides leadership to the sales organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives.
  • Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization’s operations.
  • Oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base.
  • The CEO collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products.
  • Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.

Clinical Laboratory Scientist: (Houston, TX)

Conduct Covid-19 testing, with or without Influenza-A and Influenza-B testing using RT-PCR to determine the presence of 3 viruses. Perform Pharmacogenomics (PGX) testing like Openarray, Single Tube Assay, Copy Number variant and Fragment analysis to obtain meaningful data to help prevent adverse drug reactions and deliver beneficial treatments faster. Perform DNA extraction from buccal swab containing samples and RNA extraction from nasal swab containing samples. Check mutations in gene like SLC6A4 (solute carrier family 6-member 4) with Seqstudio genetic analyzer after digestion with restriction enzyme. Analyze and review data and write reports. Helps evaluate instrumentation needs; compare and select instrumentation. Oversees preventive maintenance and repair of instrumentation. Resolves technical problems and takes remedial actions whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications. Maintain adequate supplies for section and exercise inventory control with the Purchasing Department. Maintain policies and procedures and keep team members informed regarding changes.

  • Requires master’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry and 2 years of relevant experience. Requires experience in the following;
  • Experience with Pharmacogenomic and Covid-19 testing
  • Experience in handling RNA and D
  • Experience in peptide synthesis and purification
  • Working experience with analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS, HPLC, MALDI-TOF MS, ESI-MS, Plate reader, Typhoon, Microscopy, RT-PCR, DNA fragment analyzer.
  • Hands on experience with DNA and RNA extraction from patient samples
  • Working experience under OSHA.
  • Research and assay development skills
  • Experience with instrumental monthly and annual maintenance procedures
